This ain’t a sixth-grade social studies lesson, friends. Come out for a West Wing-style candid conversation about building relationships and influencing elected and appointed officials from those in the know: both an elected official and a staffer. This is an event for anyone who has aspirations of executive and artistic leadership of any arts organization, moving on up the development food chain, or just getting better at finessing outcomes.
Light refreshments provided. After the discussion, stick around for an informal gathering and networking at a local watering hole.

Want to learn more about nonprofit finance? Have some fun with finance over pizza! David Gray of Finance Arts, LLC will lead an informative and entertaining workshop for emerging arts leaders about the nuts and bolts of operating nonprofits so they spend less time on the mess and more time on the mission. Sessions are interactive and intended to motivate as well as inform.
